With inspiration from Africa
For more than 25 years the Jacobsson family have been supporting a number of charity projects in Africa, mainly focused on endangered animals and the people living close by. When we founded Acacia in 2007 we wanted something that could manifest our connection to Africa. So we decided on name our company after the fastest growing tree on the African savanna – the Acacia tree.

Together with WWF (World Wildlife Fund) – the leading organization in wildlife conservation and endangered species – we have chosen to support a few selected projects. We have supported WWF in conservation projects for Mountain Gorillas in Uganda, Rwanda and Congo as well as Black Rhinos in Kenya and the Kipunji in Tanzania. In these projects we also support the local communities to gain a sustainable conservation.

Star for Life is an organization that aim to empower young people to dare to dream. They have developed a unique education program that is now available in 120 schools in southern Africa. ACACIA is supporting one school today with Star for Life’s well trained coaches so that learners become motivated and inspired to invest in their schooling, and take care of their health and make conscious choices in order to influence their future.
